Dr. Ghulam Ali obtained his PhD from Monash University, Australia, and Postdoc from Peking University, Beijing, China. Prior to joining Sichuan University of Science & Engineering, he worked with Peking University, Beijing, for three years. He has gained diplomas from University of Oslo, Norway, and from Uppsala University, Sweden. He has contributed articles for various national and international dailies including Global Times, The Interpreter, East Asia Forum, The Friday Times and Daily Times. He is the author of China-Pakistan Relations: A Historical Analysis (Karachi: Oxford University Press, 2017) and the first editor of upcoming Perspectives on Contemporary Pakistan: Governance, Development and Environment (London: Routledge, 2020).
